Amazon Associates Program

The Amazon Associates Program Works in Many Wonderful Ways:

• You can add Amazon Widgets to your Website
• You can add Amazon Web Stores to your Website
• The more you sell, the higher your Amazon revenue goes (it works on a tiered level)
• The Widgets make your Website look very professional
• You have no overhead as you are a reseller for established Amazon Webstores

Look to your left and see the horizontal carousel?  That's an Amazon Widget.  After you set up your website or blog, xml feed, etc...  You can add your webstore to Amazon.  From there, you select a variety of "things" to put on your site or sites.

Widgets are "things".  Just about anything you want them to be.

You can customize your Amazon Store in many ways:

• Content
• Appearance
• Size
• Themes
• Add Widgets to your Amazon Store

OR, you can let Amazon select your content by default settings.

So, now you ask "Are people really making money at this?"  Yes, they (we) are.

What do you need to get a decent  income from Amazon? 

• A Website, Blog, Feed or any Social Networking that will allow you to add a Webstore.  Forget Facebook.  They nixed Google ads and Webstores.  Use a Blog if you don't have a website.

Wordpress is blog software that is "open source" or free to download and change as you like if you are any kind of software developer.  If not, just use it as is.  You can either get it from wordpress website (they will host it, but place restrictions if they host it), or you can download it and install on your webserver to customize to your hearts delight.  It even makes KEWL webpages.

• Next what you need are good rankings via your blog or website which means you have to have good, relevant content that the Search Engines deem as relevant and worthy of inclusion and high ranking.

That starts here.  If you don't know how to develop a website, get yourself a book or better yet, software that is user friendly with a WYSIWIG editor (What you see is what you get)... You won't have to do any programming or hard coding yourself.

Then get yourself good software for Search Engine Optimization....

And after that, buy yourself some software for Search Engine Submission.
